Hello all,
Here is information about our convention beginning May 17th in Stanley Bridge PE. Judy Irwin is working on our Y's Menette entry in the 'races'. She is assembling and decorating our Klamshell Derby Kar. Each Y's Menette club is to make a Seashell Centrepiece. Bragging rights and trophies are
priceless.
The
Area Canada and Caribbean Convention will be at the same time and
place so we can look forward to meeting new friends from far and
wide.
Our
proposed agenda is as follows:
Friday
May 17, 2013 1 p.m. Golf tee off

p.m. – 9 p.m. Registration (Hotel Lobby) and check in
If
you will be a late arrival, please let us know so we can arrange to
have your information left at the front desk.

Meet and Greet
This
includes a sampling of the best the island has to offer with some of
our seafood delights along with chowder and chilli. The Klamshell
Derby will be runoff and the judging of the Seashell centerpieces
will be take place. Dress warm and there may even be a campfire
sing-along.

Keynote speaker is Former Premier of PEI and Summerside
Y’sman, Alex Campbell. Entertainment to follow. Dress will be
casual as we will be enjoying lobster and there may be juice in the
air.
Roast beef will be the alternate. Please let us know your preference
via e-mail at least two weeks prior to arrival or write it on your
registration forms.
